Universally Speaking- Red Hot Chilli Pepperslesson number one: don't club if you've got work the next day.
the newsroom party was er, alright. my COUSIN left me halfway. went to join her friends at KTV Star or sth like that. so much for blood relations (!).
and i was the first to wish hoho a happy birthday! aha! it was like his big day but he refuse to do anything spontaneous. sth abt being "not high enough". the BAR TOP was calling out to him!
anyway, i left the party early with peter. he was nice enough to drop me off at esplanade. :D so i met up with nat and joel, two guys on a 2am
rendevous :P, to chat up and all. up till now i do not get the attraction of stoning and drinking and chatting next to a mindblowing river breeze, but still. hahaha. i enjoy it all the same.
i think i'm seriously endangering myself, blogging on the job, but to be honest i kinda wish they'll fire me or sth. they shifted me from a relatively obscure corner to somewhere bright and open and in full view of my boss just today. crap. this job is quite killing my spirits. well okay, so i shouldn't have drank last night.
everybody, please hope that i get fired. i don't like this job. i like what nat said: "telemarketeer by day, friend by night". haha.
oh and you know, there was this wrong number that i dialled yesterday while telemarketing, and it so happened that this ang moh picked up. this ang moh had another drunk ang moh with him, who personified himself as Alex the Programmer.
Alex the Programmer: so er, what's this seminar thing eh?
Me: well, it's a seminar on web services, held on the 4th of october, 9 am to 1.45 pm, at the marina mandarin ballroom.
Alex the Programmer: do they serve beer?
Me: well, i doubt they serve beer in the morning.
Alex the Programmer: i guess me being a fuckin' idiot isn't doing much good to Alex the Programmer's career.
Me: yeah we realised that.
----
okay i got back from lunch to find that the
bloomin system has restarted itself, so all my data for the last 100 calls are GONE.
crap. i should have saved.
number of days left before i go to KL: 6
less than a week! i'm so excited to be able to get out of this horrid office. i will
not subject myself to even the
slightest possibility of being an office person in the future. unless im the CEO or sth. HA.
